20 Days Until Due Date
We’ve reached the weird phase of this pregnancy where we’re pretty much talking about the baby constantly and what still needs to be done to get ready for the birth.
So in preparation, I thought it would be a good idea to try to post at least a pic a day of what’s happening in preparing.
For example, tonight we had a laugh when Jennifer realized her belly had gotten to the size that she could no longer reach the skillet we keep on a shelf in the laundry room. She even tried to squeeze her belly between the washer and dryer to no avail.
Another nice moment was just a few minutes ago, watching Jennifer and Tommy sing Hail Mary before Tom heads to bed.
If this baby shows up in the next 20 days as expected, Tommy is in the midst of his remaining days as the baby of the family.
Hey Greg & Jennifer. I only just days ago discovered your podcast & I just saw today that you are finished. I am truely sad. I respect the both of you for all that you do. I really enjoyed your podcasts, the realness of it was so comforting & a little funny!! I actually started with the ones on NFP & I really need to say “good job”! It is so nice to heard a real married couple and their concerns & their journey with NFP. My husband & I have “tossed” around the idea of NFP, we even bought the books, but have not decided at this time. I suppose you could say we are still in a selfish phase. We have 4 wonderful Blessings already so the thoughts of more are a little scarey!! September 2007, just 3 weeks after our 4th child was born, my husband Chad we diagnosed with AML (leukemia). Our world was turned upside down! But God took complete care of us. I am a stay at home mom so the thoughts of Chad not working was a little terrifying. He couldn’t work for 6 months while on Chemo. Yet as I said God took complete care of us! Chad is doing very well now, he is in remission. We feel that because of the challanges we have had over these last 15 months we have grown closer to God. We actually look at his illness as a blessing. People find that hard to understand, but God has blessed us in so so many way since. We feel that He knows what is best, we may not understand, & at that time we may not like it. But He knows what’s best. We truely believe that yet it is still hard to take the leap to NFP. Any suggestions???? I suppose I just answered that above, didn’t I?!?!
You have really helped, hearing Jennifer’s concerns & her honesty, was comforting to know that you struggled with the same concerns we have.
Anyway I will miss the podcast, You both truely have a gift and thank you for sharing it with me.
