Mary Moore – Rocking the Cradle Catholic

Submitted by Greg on 01/07/2010 – 12:38 pmNo Comment

Maryheadshot-3Mary Moore is a syndicated columnist and speaker. Her column, Wholly Family” has been encouraging Catholic families for over three years, sharing the joys and challenges of living out the vocation of Catholic family life. Her latest book, published by LifeTeen.com is Rocking the Cradle Catholic.

Rocking the Cradle Catholic is Life Teen’s newest resource for Catholic parents. Mary Moore uses humor and simple, everyday examples – from how to choose a godparent, to prioritizing your vocation and other ministry work, to teaching children about war – in order to guide parents in practical imitation of the Holy Family. In the end, parents must have this one goal: the sanctification of their children. Recognizing parents as the primary catechists and family as the domestic church, Rocking the Cradle Catholic is meant to offer encouragement while challenging Catholic parents to be even better at their vocation of marriage and family life.
