Great show! On your recommendation, I read American Born Chinese and really enjoyed it. When I worked at my local library, I also recommended they purchase it, which they did. I would have liked to have heard Gene Yang’s thoughts on the whole question of parents “pre-reading” or screening books their kids are given to read, and the kinds of things that are or are not appropriate for kids in comics and graphic novels.
