Understanding Moby

mobyI decided to buy the Moby Wrap to help me carry the baby around without using my arms so much.  You should check out this thing on their website: www.mobywrap.com.  It’s an incredibly LONG piece of fabric that you wrap around your body.  I’m still trying to figure it out and perfect my skills with it.  It’s definitely taking some getting used to.  But the demonstration video on their website made it look so easy, I had to try it myself.  Here’s a picture of me with Lily all mobied up.  And of course, our youngest son had to pose for the occasion.

  • That is such a sweet picture! I hope you like the Moby! I love it. It is the baby wearing device I use most often! Congratulations! **Hugs**

  • This is such as sweet photo indeed! But it did take me awhile to find Lily though ;p

  • When Lily has good head control, a less fabric intense option is called a mei tai. Yes, like the drink. It’s a square of fabric with four tails that can be worn on the front or back. My youngest will soon outgrow ours and I’d be happy to pass it along. It’s reversible with a black and white floral on one side and plain black on the other.

  • I LOVE the Moby wrap and can’t wait for baby girl #2 to come (down to 1.5 wks to due date) to start using it again! I loved having her sleep in it, look here. Just wait til Lily is big enough to face out, it’s a lot of fun. Check it out here: Xia in Sling. You are looking great!
