<\/a>Apparently, Scrabble Season began today.<\/p>\n

Last year we played what felt like a zillion games around Christmas time.<\/p>\n

For some reason, I now have an association between Scrabble and Italian olives. We had a bunch of them last year and while we\u2019d play, we\u2019d munch on olives.<\/p>\n

I have no idea why we did, but now a year later as we play our first game of Scrabble Season, I have an insatiable craving for olives.<\/p>\n

I wonder which one of us will give in and actually go to the store to get a batch of olives.<\/p>\n

<\/a>As it looks now, with the letters I have at the start of the game, this could be the beginning of a Scrabble Season that brings Jennifer’s revenge from last year.<\/p>\n

*UPDATE* We’re well into the game now, and I think it’s certain I’ll be losing.\u00a0 Throughout the entire game, I’ve had 1 consonant and 6 vowels.\u00a0 Just now, I sealed my defeat by drawing a 7th vowel.<\/p>\n

I passed my turn to get a new rack of letters.\u00a0 It’ll take a miracle to catch up since I’m running 40 points behind.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
