This past Friday was the 5th Annual Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A restaurants across the country. Fortunately, our friend Tracey posted about it on Facebook so we were able to put our boys to work making homemade costumes while we were on the air this past Friday.
So what exactly is Cow Appreciation Day?
Basically, it means free food if you’re willing to make a bovine of yourself. Or your children.
All you had to do was walk into any Chick-Fil-A fully dressed as a cow and you’d get a free combo meal.
Jennifer and I paid for our meals, but the boys were more than willing to dress up.
Ben especially got into the act.
*LOL* Hope you enjoyed! 🙂 Love Chick-fil-A myself! We’ve got one opening practically down the street from me a little later this week. And apparently if you’re one of the first 100 people to show up & you actually stay there ’til the opening, you get a free combo meal every week for a year. Problem is, they say the line can sometimes start forming the day before! *LOL* Trying to see if I can get somebody else in my family to go while I’m at work! 😉
I’ve never eaten at one… one of these days, I will. I know they’re around here… Looks like all had a great time!
MAN! I was out of town and missed Cow Appreciation Day! Chick-fil-A rocks!. I’m glad you were able to take advantage.
