Waiting For Gas

Blog

Just pulled up to a gas station that had no gas yesterday. Two lines have formed that are approximately 10 cars deep, so I have about 20 cars ahead of me.

Now, a few minutes later, it’s a parking lot.

Jennifer filled the van this morning and had to wait about 25 minutes. I’ve got a lot of trucks and SUVs ahead of me.

I can see why, in a commuting town like Atlanta, that people would get a little panicked.

We’ll be talking about THIS on tomorrow’s show!

  • Gee… come on up here. I don’t know why we don’t have any lines… at least not like that. And gas in Dayton on Friday was down to $3.39 gal.!
(of course 20 miles north, in Piqua where I live, it was $3.79. I still cannot understand why there’s .40 cents worth of difference in 20 miles!
    Hopefully it’ll get better! 😉

  • I have a secret location for gas and paid $4.09 for premium yesterday cuz they ran out of regular, and offered the premium for regular prices. I imagine it was fluke!

  • Wow! No lines in the Philly area. We paid $3.43 yesterday for 9 gallons of gas in the Prius. That fill-up will last us about 2 weeks. I will sing the praises of that car! We’re saving about $250 a month on gas since trading in our 2001 Taurus in June. Luckily, I work from home and can walk for most of my errands, so I only gas up the minivan about once a month.
